Laifun	Christmas at London 倫敦的聖誕 Trafalgar Square 特拉法加廣場 The lighting of the Trafalgar Square Christmas Tree Every year since 1947, the Norwegian people have given London a Christmas tree in for Britain’s support for Norway during World War II. 2006 marks the 60th year of this tradition, and this year the tree will be lit by HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway in the presence of HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, the Mayor of Oslo and the Mayor of Westminster. The tree remains in Trafalgar Square until 6 January 2007, the Twelfth Night of Christmas. The tree will then be taken down for recycling.
