Recently there have been continuous rain storms in Hong Kong, which has brought a lot of inconvenience to everyone's daily life. When I hear people complaining that the weather hasn't improved, it makes me think of how humans have done many not so nice things to Earth. For instance, because of humans' demand for more food and energy, the natural environment all over the world is receding at a rate not seen before. Even though I can't go back in time like Xiang Shaolong, I can resonably believe that this is something that has never happened in all of human history, and the receding trend is still continuing. Thinking of this, on some level the crazy rain seems to be rather normal.
