Recently, a 100-year-old tree had to be chopped down. Of course I know there was a reason for it happening, like a bacterial infection or as a result of a typhoon. Yet what I want to say is that we should have noticed that something was wrong before such a drastic measure had to be taken. A 100-year-old tree is like an elderly person that we should take extra care of. After all, prevention is better than treatment. Very often if we are not prepared for it, there isn't even a chance to apply treatment.
