Today, as one of the Hong Kong UNICEF ambassadors, I attended the publicity event for the "UNICEF Charity Run 2012. The event was to raise awareness about the effects of AIDS on children and to make an era of "ZERO AIDS" a reality. In fact, in 2005, UNICEF initiated a global activity for the fight against AIDS. I participated in a UNICEF event for the first time in 2009. It was the event for "World AIDS Day" that I was a part of back then. In the past few years I have been witness to how UNICEF brings together people from different walks of life and successfully reduces the number of children being infected by AIDS from 560,000 a year to 390,000 a year, which is an encouraging achievement.
I hope that everyone will make a donation to support UNICEF, so that they can continue conducting their work in 150 developing countries, preventing the transmission of the AIDS virus from mother to child. My fans and friends, please go to the run.unicef.org.hk website and register for the charity run on November 25th. Do your part and run to show your support!
