The astronomical phenomenom  "the transit of Venus",   attracted the attention of many aficiandoes of astronomy.   Did you guys check it out yourselves?   I heard that China is one of the best observation locales in the world.   What you see with the transit of Venus is actually the slow passing of Venus,  as a black dot across the surface of the sun.

Because of work,  I didn't get to see it.   The last time Venus traversed across the sun,  was June 8, 2004.   The next time will be December 11, 2117,  which means it will be 105 year wait.   If any of you saw it,  could you share your experience with me?
