In an article about the  "Hong Kong Dolphin Conservation Society",  it said they had placed 19 noise monitors around Lantau Island,  where Chinese white dolphins usually appear.   The noise level for the channel,  which accommodates high speed ships going between Guangdong,  Hong Kong  and Macau,  near Lantau Island , is disrupting the lives of the dolphins who rely on sonar detection to interact with the environment.   This greatly reduces the number of dolphins around these channels.   The roto blades of these high speed ships frequently injure or kill the dolphins.

Chinese white dolphins are precious marine animals,  which are widely loved.   Yet at the same time they have fallen victim to the development of cities.   I hope that this news will raise more people's awareness and that we will squarely face the issue before us.   Balancing the ecosystem is a very important  matter.
