Many of my friends and colleagues are either very happy or very disappointed about some recent soccer matches. Especially the match from two nights ago, involving the team known as "the world's strongest team", who were defeated even though everyone thought the odds were in their favor. This inspired a lot of discussions concerning weak teams defeating stronger teams.
I think in any contest that luck plays an important part, but to properly equip yourself and patiently wait for opportunities, is essential. Furthermore, there is also a distinction as to whether or not you have a grasp of your abilities. This requires constant and diligent practice. Opportunities are reserved for those who are prepared - this phrase really rings true.
