I read about a child abduction incident in Hong Kong, which reminded me of the same kind of news that appeared fairly frequently when I was a child. It's hard to believe that this continues to resurface, but fortunately the three elementary school students were smart enough to ignore the stranger and avert the danger.
I hope everyone will take this to heart and pay more attention to children when they go out. Try to take children to thier destination and pick them up yourself, instead of depending on the elderly to handle it. Parents should also have better communication with one another, so that they are more knowledgeable and empowered in matters concerning their children.
